Lavender Syrup

Add a lovely floral note to cocktails with this infused simple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender

Instructions

Combine water and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a simmer (do not allow to boil), stirring until sugar has dissolved.

Add lavender and simmer about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Steep and allow to cool, about 1 hour.

Strain and transfer to a bottle. Keep sealed in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
