Make your own Matcha Avocado Honey mask that nourishes and protects the skin.
When avocados in the kitchen are on the verge of too ripe, I love to wind down with a glass of wine and whip up this all-natural hydrating home facial—my favorite mask for dry skin, especially in the winter months.

Avocado, honey and matcha are skin-loving ingredients from both the inside and out. You will experience a slight cooling effect after just a few minutes of applying so you feel the love as it nourishes and moisturizes the skin.
Why it works:
- Matcha
A potent antioxidant, matcha is a ground powder made from whole Japanese green tea leaves. Before harvest, the leaves are kept shaded from the sun, which increases the chlorophyll content, giving matcha that beautiful emerald color.
- Avocado
Hydrating and nourishing, avocados are not only delicious, they contain naturally-occurring Vitamins A and E that make them ideal for facial masks.
- Honey
Literally a freak of nature, honey is healing, hydrating, anti-inflammatory, pH balancing, and antimicrobial, which means it’s also good for acne-prone skin.
