Baby, when it’s cold outside, make Rosy Cheeks!
By far the most popular holiday cocktail served at Milk Punch soirées, Rosy Cheeks are super-easy to make.
It’s a vibe. Cranberry sweetened with vanilla, Grand Marnier and sparkling rosé—all the things to medicate properly throughout the holidays.
No shaking, just a little prep work and you can make a few at a time: the puree is spooned into the bottom of glasses, then topped with the liqueur and sparkling rosé.
Served over ice in a rocks glass, it feels more like a craft cocktail than something so crazy-easy and festively fabulous!
Make it skinnier: Make the cranbery-vanilla puree with honey rather than sugar.
When to serve: Holiday brunches to festive Girls’ Nights
Stay jolly!
Dehydrated Citrus
Make your own dehydrated orange slices for garnishing crafted cocktails at home.
Ingredients
- 3 oranges, thinly sliced
- Sugar to coat
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175 degrees F or lowest temperature.
Place orange slices on a baking pan lined with a non-stick baking mat. Sprinkle both sides generously with sugar. Place in the oven to dehydrate, leaving oven door slightly open.
Turn slices over every 30 minutes for 2 1/2 to 3 hours as needed, patting liquid with a paper towel and rotating pan.
Allow to cool completely. Store in a glass jar.
