Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine brown sugar and cayenne pepper in a shallow bowl.
Generously coat bacon strips in mixture and wrap seasoned bacon tightly around the pretzel rods.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes on a wire rack placed on an aluminum foil-lined cookie sheet (important).
Once crispy, remove from oven using tongs and carefully place wrapped pretzels on parchment paper to cool.
