Calvados Milk Punch

Calvados is a French-made apple brandy, a wonderful base spirit for milk punch! Here, spiced syrup highlights the fruit and pairs seasonal flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 (750 ml) fifth Calvados (apple brandy)
  • 1 1/4 cups spiced syrup, recipe follows
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 11 cups milk (roughly, to fill gallon milk jug)
  • Whole nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

Empty a gallon of milk and set aside. With a funnel, pour in the bottle of Calvados. Add spiced syrup. Attache top to milk jug and shake well.

Add vanilla extract and fill to the top with milk. Shake well and chill.

Serve over ice in rocks glasses or juleps with grated nutmeg over the top.
