Chai White Russians

Making White Russians by the drink allows for a cool layering effect but batching makes it a breeze to serve at seasonal soirees.

Ingredients

  • 1 (750ml) fifth Chai-infused Vodka, recipe follows
  • 1 1/2 cups Kahlua liqueur
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half

Instructions

For batch:
Combine infused vodka, Kahlua, and half-and-half in a pitcher and stir to mix well. Chill at least 1 hour.

When ready to serve, stir and pour over ice in rocks glasses. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Makes about 12 drinks

For 1 drink:
In a rocks glass filled with ice, pour in order: 1 ½ ounces chai-infused vodka, ¾ ounce Kahlua and ¾ ounce half-and-half. Garnish with grated nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Chai-infused Vodka:
1 fifth vodka
4 chai black tea bags

Place vodka and tea bags in a Mason jar or glass container. Steep for 15 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Funnel and strain vodka back into bottle. Discard unused infused vodka after about 2 days.
