Copper Canvas

Named for its coppery hue, this blood orange gin cocktail with Grand Marnier and Pimm’s ultimately evokes a cucumber and lime variation on the French 75.

  • 1/4 ounce Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 ounce Pimm's No. 1 liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce Cucumber syrup*
  • Cava to top
  • Cucumber flower for garnish

Instructions

Cucumber Syrup: Combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 1 medium cucumber, seeded, peeled and roughly chopped in a saucepan over medium heat. Sir until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Allow to cool and steep, about 30 minutes. Strain into a glass bottle, discarding cucumbers. Store in fridge for up to 3 or 4 days.
