Frozen Palomas

The alcohol will keep this from freezing firmly, so the mixture will break apart easily before blending, almost like a granita.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups fresh squeezed pink grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar
  • 1 cup blanco tequila
  • 2 cups ice
  • Paloma Pops for garnish, recipe follows

Instructions

Combine grapefruit juice, lime, agave and tequila. Transfer to a gallon Ziploc bag and freeze.

Add frozen mixture to a blender with ice and blend until smooth.

To serve, rub edge of glasses with lime and roll the rims in sea salt. Pour Palomas into glasses.

Garnish each cocktail with a Paloma Pop and additional edible flowers, if desired.
