Honeysuckle Mimosa Gelatin Shots

Elegant brunchtime “shots” that taste like a spring garden. Serve with mini spoons with the desserts or pass around the party!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice, divided
  • 3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 1/4 cups brut Champagne
  • 1/4 cup Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka
  • 2 drops orange flower water, optional
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish
  • Honeysuckles for garnish

Instructions

Add 3/4 cup orange juice to a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over the top and allow to soak, about 3 minutes.

Heat remaining 3/4 cup orange juice over low heat. Add the cold juice to the hot juice and whisk in honey. Stir until well combined.

Remove from heat. Stir in Champagne, honeysuckle vodka and optional orange flower water.

Pour into molds or cups. Drop raspberries in each shot. Chill overnight or until set, at least 3 hours.

Serve topped with fresh-picked honeysuckle blooms, when in season.
