Obituary Cocktail 118

This dry martini with just a whisper of absinthe was created as a signature cocktail for Delta Meat Market’s Moving Out Parties tasting Mississippi’s new Wonderbird gin. The gin’s unique blend of botanicals shine through in this classic martini.

Ingredients

  • Absinthe mist
  • 2 ounces Wonderbird Spirits gin
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • Sunflower leaves for garnish

Instructions

With an atomizer, spray a chilled coupe with absinthe.

In a mixing glass, add gin and vermouth. Add ice and stir until chilled, about 30 seconds.

Strain into coupe and garnish with sunflower leaves.
