Rosemary Sausage Balls

These sassy sausage balls mingle well with mimosas and Bloody Marys at brunchtime but are ideal for any cocktail hour.

Ingredients

  • 1 (11.36-ounce) box Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 1 roll hot sausage
  • 1 (10-ounce) block extra-sharp cheddar, grated
  • 1 heaping tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut sausage roll into thirds. Season with the garlic herb seasoning packet found in the Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix.

In a mixer with the paddle attachment, layer in thirds in the mixing bowl: sausage, cheese and biscuit mix and repeat. Mix on low until well combined.

Roll into 1-inch balls and spread on lined baking sheets.

Bake 14 minutes, turning pans once, until lightly browned. Allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.

Makes about 40 sausage balls
