Instructions
Build in a highball filled with ice and stir to combine.
Garnish with grated or ground nutmeg.
Golden Milk
2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
½ teaspoon ground ginger
2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
4 to 5 whole black peppercorns
1 tablespoon local raw honey
Combine in saucepan over low heat. Bring to a simmer, whisking to combine. Remove from heat. Allow to steep and cool, about 15 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve. Keep covered and chilled.
Batch It!
Combine in a glass container:
1 fifth dark rum
4 ½ cups pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 1/2 cups Golden Milk
Chill. Serve over ice in highballs with nutmeg grated over the top. Serve with edible orchids and paper straws.
